General info
These are the trips we have scheduled for the 2011-2012 season. Are you interested in a sailing trip somewhere else? Contact me and we will look into it. Join our group, or put your own crew together!
The idyllic British Virgin Islands truly embrace visiting sailors.
On the main islands, almost every bay has a bar or restaurant, and they are all accessible by dinghy from the yacht.
The waters are protected and the snorkelling is amazing. This is truly a sailors' paradise.
To get to the British Virgin Islands, you can fly into St Thomas (STT) in the US Virgin islands and take the ferry over.
The last ferry is around 4pm, so plan on getting to St Thomas early, or spend the night.
Alternately, you can fly to St Thomas, St Martin (SXM), or San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) and take a small plane over to BVI (EIS).
All our advanced booking weeks are gone for 2011! What's left are "short-notice" weeks.
With over a thousand charter boats in BVI waters, there is no shortage of yachts during the off-peak periods. We can't book the yacht until 16 days before we leave,
although we have never had a problem getting a short-notice yacht. All the same, please don't book your flights until the yacht is confirmed (Flights are also cheaper at these off-peak times).
Base pricing will be around $450/person for a 43 foot monohull, which is a fairly large boat, but we can upgrade to a catamaran or a larger monohull, depending on availability.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Date TBD - Jan/Feb 2012, 14 days
We will tour St. Vincent and the Grenadines with a flotilla group so we can have a built in tour guide. We will visit the amazing Grenadines, including the Tobago Cays. This area is line-of-sight sailing, simlar to BVI, but farther south, hotter, and with some longer passages! St. Vincent and the Grenadines were the filming locations for most of the scenes in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies.
This will be on a large monohull (43' - 47') or small catamaran (38'). The price will be around $1300/person, depending on the yacht size and number of guests.
2-week flotilla (14 days): 6 berths left
Rum Runner Checkout Voyage - BVI
Date TBD - Apr or May 2012, 7 days
We will be sailing Rum Runner again to check out all her systems before she comes out of charter. This will be a fun trip, but we will also be putting her through her paces. Pricing will be around $450/person.
Week 1: 4 berths left
