Bareboat Chartering
This page is for people interested in chartering a yacht on their own, without me as a skipper. If you want to join a group, please check out the group page for more info.
I am selling 2 weeks of "short notice" time at a massive discount to the list price.
Short Notice means booking within 16 days of the charter start date. This is the charter company saying "if the yachts aren't rented, we might as well let the owners use them at a big discount". I am making these short notice weeks available for sale at a deep discount to booking directly with the charter companies. I recommend using this time in the shoulder periods, when there are sure to be yachts available, such as Nov-Dec and after mid-March in the Caribbean.
Example: A 43' monohull in December in BVI for CDN$2600 for 1 week, CDN$4200 for 2 weeks. List price at that time of year is US$4580/week. These prices include fuel surcharge, all local cruising fees and taxes, parks permits, and the yacht damage waiver insurance. At today's exchange rates, that's a 43% savings for one week or 54% savings if you take 2 weeks.
I can get you similar savings for other yachts if you want. Please contact me for a quote.
